- Now take a bowl, you should add 1 cup of basan (chickpeas) powder then add tamarind water. jaggery water, cumin, coriander powder, red chilly , turmeric powder, rice flour, green chilly and garlic paste salt as per taste. Mix everything well.

- Apply a thin layer of the batter using hands and spread it all over the leaf. Place another leaf upside down again but in an alternate way to the first. Repeat these steps for all leaves and role it.
- Take 3 to 4 cups of water in a steamer to boil. Place the folded leaves stuffing on steamer. Steam it for 25 to 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Switch off the flame, take out the rolls and let them rest for about 10 minutes or until cools down. after that make small medium sized slicing pieces.
- Next heat a frying pan, I am adding coconut oil. then add seseme and cumin seeds let it fry for few seconds then place sliced rolls. Cook both the sides for 4-5 minutes until the rolls golden brown and lightly crispy.
